The local volleyball season concludes on Friday evening with the men's UAE Cup final between Al Ain and Bani Yas, held at Al Ain Sports Club Hall. This tournament marks the final stage of men's competitions and the fourth event on the UAE Volleyball Federation's calendar this season. Previously, Al-Nasr clinched both the league and Federation Cup titles, while Bani Yas won the Super Cup. Thus, the UAE Cup remains the last available title this season. The federation has urged fans to attend the final match, coinciding with the 'Proud of the UAE' campaign. This initiative aims to boost national spirit and turn the event into a sporting occasion that reflects competition and belonging, while reinforcing unity and cohesion. The federation also stated that holding the final at this time demonstrates the continuity of sports activity and the strength of the country's sports system, which can continue to operate efficiently despite various challenges. In turn, Abdulaziz Ibrahim Al-Sulaiman, the federation's secretary-general, explained that organizing the final carries significance beyond sports rivalry, noting that sport will remain a fundamental part of the nation's journey toward stability and development.
